On May 19, 2017, the Pink Titans with FIRST LEGO League (FLL) team 16365 - Bala Bots and Director Dave Ellis of FLL Ontario helped to showcase FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Robotics Competition (programs of FIRST Robotics Canada) at Go North. Go North, created in partnership with Actua and Google Canada, is an event that promotes STEM-based learning and products. Over 1,200 elementary students from across the Greater Toronto Area attended the exhibits and workshops, held at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering.
Thank you Director Ellis, Annika Pint (FIRST Administrator for Toronto District School Board), and FIRST Robotics Canada for providing this opportunity to share enthusiasm for STEM-based learning to many young students at this event.
