STEM Collaboration at Bessborough Drive Elementary & Middle School

On April 5, 2017, members of FRC 5719 - Pink Titans collaborated with Grade 7 students and Mr. Casey on their Strandbeast mechanized projects at Bessborough Drive Elementary and Middle School. The members mentored on engineering and robotics principles such as gear ratios and torque.
On April 7, 2017, members returned to Bessborough Dr. Elem. & Mid. School to discuss with Grade 8 students and Mr. Casey the design process in constructing the FRC robot, that played SteamWorks. Afterwards, the students test-drove the robot. Thank you Mr. Casey, Principal Broderick, and Annika Pint for the opportunity!
